A shocking video has been obtained by the Naples Prosecutor's Office. It appears to be a hidden camera video depicting three people, two young men and an older man. The video's creator, as reported by Il Mattino, is believed to be one of the two young men who was asked to show up to the appointment with an envelope containing €5 to be handed over to the older man. The other young man, who was supposedly acting as a go-between, was also unaware of being filmed. The sum in the envelope was supposed to be an installment, bringing the total to €30, which was supposedly used to facilitate the young man's entry into the Municipal Police force, believed to be through rigged competitions.
"If the news were to be founded - says the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli - we would find ourselves faced with yet another criminal act to the detriment of those who seek stability with a job in the public administration in an honest way. This time the complaint was filed because the young man thought he had been defrauded by the man, a self-styled agent of the Municipal Police, who after collecting the money disappeared from circulation, but I hope that more and more people want to be on the front line to unmask these criminals who fuel illegality, with corruption and requests for bribes. The words and gestures captured in the film would leave no doubt about the request for a bribe. The incident is being examined by the magistrates of the Public Prosecutor's Office who I hope will shed light on the matter as soon as possible and severely punish the guilty parties. We are tired of criminals, corrupt and crafty people".
