“Ti prometto” was released today, the first album by the singer-songwriter from Salerno Federica Matera who, with Christmas approaching, decided to burst forth with a musical project that aims to be a container of emotions and above all feelings capable of touching the sensitivity of all listeners. The multifaceted musician, in fact, is ready to tread the national record market and enter the world of Italian singer-songwriters.
“Ti prometto”, in fact, marks the debut of the artist from Salerno and another step forward in her artistic career which, after graduating from the Como Conservatory in “Pop Rock Composition” where she was able to collaborate and interface with professionals, such as the famous Italian bassist Lorenzo Poli, leaves her mark on the national territory as a true artist.
The album deals with three different themes such as social, love and introspection, investigating the depth of a sensitive soul that loves simple things and seeks harmonious coexistence within society.
The primary objective, in fact, is to give a voice to those who do not have one and make them unconsciously protagonists of the musical project.
"I decided to record this album because I felt ready to make my sensitivity, my weaknesses and my ideas public. The choice of the name, however, was born from two reasons: the first concerns the text of the song of the same name, since it is the one I am most attached to, and the second is because it represents a promise, to those who have already followed me for a long time, to remain exactly as I am and to never distort my art", explains Federica.
“Ti Prometto” is composed of singles forged with refined arrangements but, at the same time, radio-friendly, with catchy choruses that draw heavily on the timeless Italian singer-songwriter. The pop sounds and international scope are undoubtedly the result of a long work of research, writing and production, which highlights Federica's talent with her artistic maturity and her strong songwriting and musicianship skills.
The work, produced by the renowned musician and arranger Marco Zanoni, includes 9 unreleased songs entirely written by the young singer-songwriter: “Vuoti a perdere”, “Rosa” (Preziosa), “Tra i canali di Venezia”, “Nella mia città”, “Ti prometto”, “Gli invisibili”, “Anna” (Libertà); “Scusa se…” (present only in the physical copy of the album) and “È colpa tua” whose videoclip is online on Youtube from today and was made by Bazoo (Bzk_Prod.). Excellent collaborations in the project that see the vocal coach Germano Parisi and first-rate musicians such as: Lorenzo Poli, author of the bass lines present in some albums by Mina, Renato Zero, Emma Marrone, Leona Lewis, Anastacia and many others; Giorgio Cocilovo, Italian guitarist and arranger who has accompanied songs by Tullio De Piscopo, Loredana Bertè, Eros Ramazzotti, Giorgio Gaber, Jovanotti; Lele Melotti, drummer who has collaborated with big names in Italian music such as Mia Martini, Max Gazzè, Adriano Celentano, Fiorello; Marco Orsi, well-known drummer of Enrico Ruggeri; Marco Rainoldi, guitarist; Alberto Russo, pianist.
