“The manger is empty because a thief brother stole it.” This is the writing with which the religious of the church of Sant'Antonio di Padova in Torre del Greco “greeted” the last bad news of 2019, that of the theft of the baby Jesus from the Nativity placed in the church of the homonymous neighborhood. A news item that bounced in the last few hours on the social networks of the faithful and that in a few hours has collected hundreds of indignant comments. On the case, from what we learn, a specific complaint will be filed with the police by the parish priest of the church.
