Thirty years for Domenico Belforte, life imprisonment for his wife, Maria Buttone. This was the sentence handed down by preliminary hearing judge Di Palma of the Naples court for the murder of Angela Gentile, the woman who allegedly had an affair with the clan leader and was eliminated for it.
According to the prosecution, Belforte and his wife were both the instigators of the Gentile crime, the perpetrators of which have never been identified. The victim's body has never been found.
