Villaricca. Almost two quintals of firecrackers in the garages of a condominium. 3 arrests and two reports by the Carabinieri. 170 kilos of explosive devices and pyrotechnic devices illegally detained in 3 garages: 2 people arrested and 3 reported.
This is the outcome of a blitz by the Carabinieri of the Villaricca station, as part of a service to combat the use and sale of illegal firecrackers ordered by the Provincial Command of Naples. Those arrested were Fabio Esposito, 35 years old from Villaricca and Francesco Fioretti, 37 years old from Qualiano, both already known to the police.
During a search, the military found 434 homemade explosive devices and 761 “free sale” fireworks, illegally held in three garages located beneath a private condominium in Villaricca. A veritable arsenal stored in three small underground rooms consisting of “rendini”, “onions”, “mortar rounds” and “fire batteries”.
