Naples. He had robbed an elderly woman to steal her bag containing 20 euros, the woman had suffered numerous injuries. This morning he was arrested by the state police who, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, executed an order applying the precautionary measure of house arrest, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, EV, 25 years old accused of aggravated robbery and injuries. The precautionary measure was issued following complex investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples and carried out by the police officers of the Naples Flying Squad in relation to a robbery that took place in October 2019 to the detriment of a 79-year-old woman in the Quartieri Spagnoli area. The victim, while going to do the shopping, had been noticed and followed by a young man who, waiting for the right moment when there were no passers-by, had forcefully pulled her, making her fall, to take possession of the bag containing a mobile phone of little value, 20 euros and some documents. The violent crime had caused the victim multiple injuries, for which she had been hospitalized due to a fractured humerus and several abrasions.
