More than positive trend for the first day of sales at La Reggia Designer Outlet. The data collected at the McArthurGlen Center in Marcianise (CE) in the first part of the day predict a closing with 30.000 visitors and a trend of over 90.000 visitors for the long Epiphany weekend.
“The data analyzed in the first four hours of the day put us in line with the historical – says Fabio Rinaldi, Centre Manager La Reggia Designer Outlet –. Last year we hosted 30.000 people on the first day of sales. We expect to close the day around this figure, which would be an exceptional result, considering that last year the sales weekend was sold out in two days and this year we have the advantage of the calendar, which brings us Monday 6 January, a traditionally very strong holiday”.
A huge influx of shoppers into the 140 stores in the center, where designer sales ranging from -30% to -70% become a long-awaited shopping opportunity at La Reggia Designer Outlet, an increasingly popular shopping destination in Campania.
To protect the consumer, control over pricing policy is important. “We have control 12 months a year over individual stores, both with respect to contractual pricing policies and with respect to prices practiced outside our Center,” Rinaldi continues. “Obviously, controls are intensified during peak periods, such as sales or special promotions, such as Black Friday.”
During the sales period, La Reggia Designer Outlet remains the preferred shopping destination for the people of Campania, but it also becomes the destination for those arriving from other cities in search of an unmissable opportunity. From Caserta to Florence, there are those who decide to take advantage of the sales in two McArthurGlen Centers on the same day, arriving from Bari and adding a good 450 km to the route already covered. “After La Reggia Designer Outlet we will reach Barberino Outlet,” says a lady. “We took a tour as soon as we arrived and now we have clear ideas. We will buy and leave again to reach Florence, happy and with lots of bags!”. From Cosenza, a happy boy shows his bags: “We come here with the whole family to do some big shopping. Dad pays!”. Patient husbands await their wives’ shopping and face the wait with philosophy: “We have been here since 9 and will stay at least until 14. Then tomorrow is another day, more sales…”. Among the avenues, two friends choose La Reggia Outlet “for the big names”. A woman, accompanied by her daughter, says: "I always come here, where I find very nice things at convenient prices and the sales become an opportunity not to be missed. We don't have a specific destination, we will look for something nice and convenient for my daughter". There is no shortage of those who arrive with clear ideas: "I found what I was looking for, on the other hand at the Outlet there is a wide choice and therefore it is easy to satisfy all tastes".
