The Befana has arrived for the young patients of the Annunziata Hospital. The event was promoted and organized by the online newspaper NapoliVillage.com, published and edited by Raffaele De Lucia. After the 2019 Befana celebration, organized with the Curia of Naples and Archbishop Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe to benefit migrant children, this year the young patients of the historic Neapolitan Annunziata pediatric hospital are smiling. "It's a necessary and heartfelt gesture," explains De Lucia. "Since its first day in 2008, our newspaper has reached out to the most vulnerable, to those who suffer, and to children. For our editorial staff, the day of the Befana is not only a day of celebration, but also of reflection, of taking stock to understand where we can intervene to improve our city and to improve ourselves as active citizens." The celebration was organized in collaboration with the Fondazione Santobono Pausillipon Onlus, directed by Flavia Matrisciano. The gifts are the result of the great support the newspaper's initiative has received from toymakers and citizens.
