In the historic center of Naples, a sign made from a piece of cardboard was displayed, giving tourists directions on how to reach San Gregorio Armeno, but it used foul and inappropriate language.
“It represents a terrible example of hospitality and civility. Tourists are an invaluable resource for our city and must be protected, furthermore foul language, vulgarity and rudeness should not be used with anyone, it is a question of civility. The sign in question must be removed immediately. It is an outburst of presumption and rudeness that does not reflect our proverbial hospitality at all” – thus commented the Regional Councilor of Sole che Ride Francesco Emilio Borrelli with the environmental manager of Sole che Ride Enzo Vasquez and the radio host Gianni Simioli.
