Three billion euros are coming to be allocated to the Reggio Calabria-Salerno High Capacity railway line. This was reported by the Minister of Infrastructure Paola De Micheli. "We will finance the Reggio Calabria-Salerno High Capacity with a forthcoming bill. In this case, the discussion between high speed and high capacity is a trifle. Let's get started, it's a multi-year project, we'll invest three billion". The project will have the objective of improving the overall capacity, efficiency and speed of the railway system, as well as the various interconnections and more generally allowing a higher frequency of transits.
