Salerno. The last bureaucratic piece has also been taken care of: now the modernization works of the plant in via dei Greci can be started. The aim of the revamping plan of the Pisano Foundries is to further reduce the impact of the Pisano Foundries on the environment. And so, after having received the favorable opinion of the commission composed of the Campania Region, the University of Benevento, Arpac, ASL (and all the parties involved), now the project has also received the green light from the central regional offices in Naples with regards to water treatment. In practice, the top management of the Foundries has also successfully passed the last step to ensure that the factory falls within the standards and that the so-called BAT (and better anti-pollution technologies) are implemented, preparatory to the granting of the Integrated Environmental Authorization which is now ever closer.
