The season at the Teatro Area Nord resumes on January 18 and 19 with the show “Attorno a un tavolo” by Paola Berselli and Stefano Pasquini who, together with Maurizio Ferares, are on stage in the show produced by the Teatro delle Ariette.
A very particular theatrical work that immediately tries to create empathy between the audience and the actors: the spectators are welcomed into the kitchen, a decidedly familiar and welcoming setting.
A shared stage space: a kitchen. A large table in the center. All around, worktops and kitchen utensils.
Paola, Stefano and Maurizio seat the spectators around the table and set the table.
It begins like this, then the three actors, serving water and wine, focaccia, cheese, vegetables and tagliatelle, tell life stories, personal experiences, small failures apparently without importance, worries that cross our present.
"For us it's always very nice to invite friends to lunch or dinner, but it's not easy. There are always too many things to do, there's no time...", says Stefano.
There is no drama. Only the desire to play and the lightness of being together dominate the scene.
