Blindur return to the stage of Club 33 Giri to take the audience on a journey through the songs contained in the second album “A”, released in April 2019 by La Tempesta. The live will dress the songs in a special acoustic version that will give new and unexpected nuances to an absolutely unique live.
“A” is the account of the beginning of the thirties, of the uncertainties and of the thought of the future, repeating like a mantra the words of the poet Leonard Cohen “There is a crack in everything – That's how the light gets in”. There is darkness, fear, obsessions, ghosts, wounds and pain. The pain from which we continually escape, the pain that in the end reaches us, hits us and, if it doesn't exhaust us completely, it sits there in a corner to stagnate until it becomes torment. But there is also light, courage, dreams, antidotes, scars that become paths and above all the need to convert suffering into a new opportunity, a simple “a” in capital letters in a precious and important personal memory found. In the folds of these songs there are the ruins of this era: loneliness, anxiety, so many question marks; but also poetry, that sacred feeling that some call love, the desperate search for a place to feel safe, at least until the next earthquake. The album was produced and created by Blindur and Paolo Alberta, already a sound engineer with Ligabue, Negrita, La fame di Camilla and others; Blindur recorded all the instruments in almost all the songs, but there were also some prominent collaborations: JT Bates, already a drummer for Big Red Machine and Bon Iver; Adriano Viterbini, Bud Spencer blues explosion, I hate my village; Fabrizio Poggi, a pillar of blues made in Italy, nominated for the 2018 Grammy Awards; Daniele Ruotolo, voice and guitar of Malmo; Birgir Birgisson, historic sound engineer for Sigur Ros, Bjork and many others, with whom Blindur has already collaborated for the first album.
