The longest Epiphany stocking in the world in Viterbo could lose its record. Pietramelara, a small town of less than 5 inhabitants in the province of Caserta, is trying to take the scepter from the city of the Popes, where the pro loco is making an 85-meter stocking. The Viterbo stocking is instead “only” 52 meters long. Both stockings will be transported by Fiat 500 and both stockings will have a social purpose. The Viterbo stocking this year is in favor of the Italian Down Syndrome Association. The Pietramelara stocking is in favor of Avis. Happy Epiphany and may the best man win, as long as in the end the real winners are fun and solidarity.
