Two months ago, his release from prison was celebrated with fireworks and a concert by Neapolitan singers in the Monterusciello neighborhood of Pozzuoli (Naples). Last night, Silvio De Luca, 43, under probation and under an obligation not to leave his municipality of residence and prohibited from associating with criminals, was arrested again in Naples by State Police officers from the San Ferdinando Police Station, who caught him near a bar on Via Giordano Bruno with two men with criminal records. De Luca, who, like the other two people caught by officers, had initially attempted to flee, provided personal information that, upon further investigation, was found to be false, and was thus arrested for making false statements to a public official. On October 31, a street party took place in the Monterusciello neighborhood, unauthorized by the City of Pozzuoli or the police. It attracted around a hundred people and culminated in a concert by Anthony, the pseudonym of Antonio Ilardo, a well-known local Neapolitan singer. The party was organized to celebrate the release of Giovanni Illiano, known as Fasolillo, and Silvio De Luca, known as 'o nanetto, believed to be affiliated with the Longobardi and Beneduce Camorra clans, who had just completed eight and ten years in prison, respectively. Images of the party posted on social media subsequently triggered investigations by the Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli branch into possible violations of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, particularly regarding provisions regarding entertainment and public order.
