CAPRI WAVE – Winter Arts Festival, promoted by the City of Capri, and organized by the Gulliver Cultural Association, with the artistic direction of Sara Aprea and Umberto Natalizio, it's time for theater. Saturday, January 11, in the spaces of ZOOM, in via Le Botteghe 56, “Il Cibo degli Angeli” will be on stage, conceived and directed by Paola Carbone, with the Azzurro Solfato collective. It is a site-specific theater experience, designed for a small number of spectators at a time, which is repeated over the course of an entire day. The show will have 5 shifts (11, 12, 17, 18, 19) and each shift can host a maximum of 20 spectators. The spectator will be welcomed by the inhabitants of a house and gently accompanied to pass through a place where memories emerge. Along the way, she will meet child angels, timeless angels who have always been there: Melissa Micillo, Francesca Diletta Iavarone, Rossella De Rosa, Ilaria Cecere and Anna Savoia. Food of Angels/Poetic Action of Nourishment
What is nourishment in this dark and opulent century?
What do we need to get through our time?
Of what food? Of what bread?
Here then the angel arrives as a simple and childish metaphor, an invisible messenger of luminous thoughts that nourish the mind, the heart and matter.
Ours is a human angel, so human, stubbornly human!
Our passions are food, our desires are food, weakness, fragility, the dreams that inhabit us at night. are often the food of the day to come.
The food of angels because we do not live by bread alone but by beauty, art, poetry, a sense of
belonging, identity. All this in the hope of rethinking the way and places in which we live, and of desiring other nourishments. The food of angels is a wish! (Paola Carbone)
