Huge participation at the Peace Concert organized by the Yamaha Music Academy of San Nicola la Strada and the Accademia Città di Caserta directed by Professor Mena Santacroce. A large audience filled all the aisles of the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, attending with participation the concert that closed a year of great satisfaction for both educational institutions.
The protagonists were the choir and soloists of the Academy: Michele Gaglione, Luisa Rossana Borriello, Maria Grazia De Rosa and Claudia Russo.
The event saw the participation of Emilio Di Donato on guitar, while the actor Pierluigi Tortora introduced the traditional Neapolitan songs performed by the Choir with steps taken from comedies by Eduardo De Filippo. The concert was supported by the teaching collaboration of the teacher Cristina Cafiero. The concert was attended by the dance troupe of the Ars Movendi dance school directed by Rita Stabile, who performed choreographies on the songs sung, as well as the percussionist Luca De Simone.
These are the words of Professor Santacroce: «The one just concluded was the 25th of the San Nicola la Strada headquarters, but also that of the Junior original Concert in Caserta. 2019 also saw the consolidation of the headquarters in the capital with the expansion and renovation of the spaces in via Caduti sul Lavoro and the intensification of collaborations, as well as the activation of new projects that will see full realization during this new year, such as the production of the CD and the activation of the Music Production course with Emilio Di Donato. Great satisfaction, therefore, and above all a lot of enthusiasm for 2020, strong in a teaching method that is always at the forefront, thanks to passionate and prepared teachers».
