The Public Prosecutor's Office Rome has requested the dismissal of 12 of the 27 people involved in the investigation involving the bankruptcy judge of Court di Napoli North and Santa Maria Capua Vetere Enrico Caria, accused by investigators of corruption.
The archiving was requested by the prosecutor Claudia Terracina for Francesco Corbello and Maurizio Maiello, for the well-known accountant Alessandro Gelormini and for Nicola D'Abundo, Antonio Savino, Francesco Matacena (defended by the lawyer Raffaele Costanzo), Massimo Matera, Francesco Palmieri, Luca Perrella, Francesco Tagliatela, Giuliana Acampa.
According to investigators, the judge, sent to trial together with 14 other people (the preliminary hearing has been set for next February 5th before the preliminary hearing judge of Rome Taviano), in exchange for money, would have given assignments to professionals, among whom also his wife, appointed in the context of bankruptcy proceedings.
Among the lawyers who obtained the archiving for their respective clients are Italo Benigni, Giuseppe Saccone, Luigi De Vita, Andrea Abbagnano Trione, Giampiero Pirolo, Vincenzo Comi and Alfonso Laudonia.
