On the eve of its sixtieth anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2021, Arti Grafiche Boccia, a European boutique in the graphics industry, has announced a major relaunch plan to increase its competitiveness and innovation.

The company, led by the CEO and President of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia, has in fact planned a relaunch plan that includes new investments of 10 million euros in the next 18 months, which are added to the 40 million already invested in the last 15 years, in addition to a capital increase already realized of 1,3 million with annexed debt restructuring. The latter in particular is the consequence of a reduction in turnover following the international economic situation, and of the NPLs due to some historical customers who have ended their activity due to absences of generational transition. In order not to make other companies that supply the Company suffer what has been suffered from the effects of the NPLs, the procedure defined 182 bis was chosen, which allows all creditors to transparently receive all of their credits within a defined time plan.

Among the first effects of the relaunch plan, the company has given a renewed boost to newspaper printing, taking full advantage of the strategic position of the Salerno site, and consolidated the historical core area, namely the printing of catalogs and magazines. In November 2019, Arti Grafiche Boccia acquired the printing of catalogs for the multinational MSC Crociere. Furthermore, at the end of January, a supply chain contract will be signed with a strategic and complementary partner to grow in the large-scale retail trade segment and combine the products printed by Arti Grafiche Boccia with services that will result in an investment of approximately 10 million euros with first installations in Italy.

In the context of the circular economy, the company also plans to launch an experimental laboratory dedicated to artists to create works of art from production waste, in particular paper and plates.
