After more than four months since its launch in the United States, Disney + will also land here. We can already take a look at the schedule and get a taste of what awaits us.

Disney+ is the on-demand streaming service platform of the great house of Walt Disney Studios, the one that according to the public could directly compete (and put a spoke in the wheels) on Netflix. In fact, this service could be the most fearsome rival of all the biggest streaming platforms, which here in Italy are Netflix, Prime Video and TimVision.

The reason for so much competition is the consistent and attractive programming, which already includes all the titles of the best productions and best Disney franchises.

To discover and keep up to date with all the news that awaits us, just go here In the meantime, let's take a look together at the films and TV series that will be launched in Italy from March 31, 2020. We remind you that Disney+ was released in the US on November 12th.

Disney+ in Italy: what titles await us?

In addition to new productions that have long been announced, users of the streaming service will have access to a huge catalog of classic titles, including old animated films and great cult films.

The thing we are most looking forward to, however, are the films and TV series created specifically for on demand and which should overshadow the best pieces of the Netflix and Prime catalog. As for the films, among others, the following will be planned: Disney animated classics which are especially awaited by parents who want to entertain their children.

The list is very long: let's make some examples! There will be animated films that can be defined as true cults of the genre such as Pinocchio, Dumbi and Bambi which were all released in the 40s.

But there are also much more recent titles such as the Invisible Dragon, Frozen and Oceania and many others. Also highly anticipated are the Pixar animated films and shorts like Cars 2, Toy Story 2 and the recent and famous Inside Out and Finding Nemo.

The catalogue will also include Disney cult films like Mary Poppins, famous trilogies such as for example Star Wars and historical films such as Sister Act, Nightmare before Christmas and Avatar. Also very important will be TV series, which are now appreciated by users of all ages and in some cases are even more loved than films.

Let's see some of them together!

  • The Proud family
  • Still
  • The Mandalorian
  • What IF
  • Diary of a Future
  • One Day at Disney
  • Wanda vision
  • Lizzie McGuire

These are some of the titles planned, but the calendar could reserve other surprises and updates! The only thing to do now is to wait for the launch date of the platform in Italy scheduled for March 31, 2020.|
