The world of tourism has marked a precise date on the calendar: Friday, March 20, 2020.
In the first weekend of spring, the twenty-fourth edition of BMT – Borsa Mediterranea del Turismo is scheduled in Naples. The appointment with the first important B2B meeting of the year is renewed, marking the start of the tourist season, an opportunity to present programs and products that Italian travel agencies will be able to offer tourists and travellers in the coming months.
NEW PRODUCT AREAS AND MORE EXHIBITORS
Exhibitor registrations for BMT 2020 are proceeding positively with significant attention to consolidated areas such as Contract & Hotellerie or new ones such as the debuting Expo Caravan and Bus Operator as well as those in the technology and services sector.
At the Mostra d'Oltremare exhibition center, like every year, the doors of BMT will open onto a path that will offer a complete vision of the tourism product, proposed in all its components, from tour operators to tourist villages, from hotels to cruises, from wellness tourism to experiential, food and wine, sports and open-air tourism, from bus operators to insurance services.
Various themes are proposed with some important innovations that will accentuate the role of tourist marketplace of central and southern Italy that BMT has carved out for itself over the last quarter of a century.
INCOMING IN THE SPOTLIGHT
BMT 2020 will give more space to the Incoming sector to respond to the trend of the global tourism market that sees Italy in strong growth and once again among the top destinations.
The Neapolitan stock exchange will propose, as every year, four product workshops where the Italian offer will meet the international demand. Numerous foreign delegations have already booked their presence at the workshop tables, representing all the markets most interested in our country, with a particular focus on the American and Chinese markets, which will be present in Naples with two very large delegations, as well as strongly interested in the offer that, in addition to the workshop tables, they will also be able to evaluate at the stands of the numerous Italian Regions present in the exhibition area.
CONTRACT & HOTELLERIE EXPANDS ITS SPACES
Following the success of past editions, BMT 2020 will also reserve more space for the Contract & Hotellerie area with a dedicated pavilion where new companies will find space to present their proposals to tour operators, hoteliers, managers of non-hotel facilities and those who work in the hospitality sector, not only in Italy.
DISCOUNTS FOR VISITORS
Also confirmed for BMT 2020 are the transport and accommodation discounts for travel agents visiting the stock exchange and for professional visitors, as well as invitations to the Pizza Party on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st and the big BMT Party on Friday evening.
