Medicine between the desks from school to the ward: data and experience

For the school year, through a specific agreement between Federico 
II and the Campania School Office, thanks to the collaboration of the 
School of Medicine and Surgery of Federico II and the contribution 
Pfizer Foundation's keynote address, Medicine between the desks takes place 
within the PCTO – the Paths for Transversal Skills and 
the Orientation established by the Ministry of University, with an offer 
training structured in didactic/theoretical modules for 4 thematic nuclei – 
Dermatology, Endocrinology, Occupational Medicine and Pediatrics – in addition to 
practical modules-workshops that take place in the company's departments 
Federico II University Hospital.
All project data, including performances in admission tests 
at the medical school and in the first year of university students 
participants, will be illustrated during a specific meeting which will be 
will be held next January 13th, at 11.00 am, in the main hall of the high school 
Gian Battista Vico of Naples, which will be attended by the school principal 
of the Clotilde Paisio Institute, a delegate of the new Minister of University 
Gaetano Manfredi and the Professors of Federico II Luisa Franzese director 
General of the Campania School Office, Luigi Califano President 
of the School of Medicine and Surgery, Gabriella Fabbrocini, Maria Triassi 
Director of the Department of Public Health, Annamaria Colao 
head of the Unesco Chair and professor of Endocrinology, Ivo 
Iavicoli Professor of Occupational Medicine, Annamaria Staiano Professor of 
Pediatrics.
