A 2019 marked by live performances and concerts for the well-known pianist, musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and jazz piano teacher Lello Petrarca has just ended. In the name of continuity, 2020, which has just dawned, already traces important dates and live performances. Explicit confirmation of the growing echo and interest that the art of Maestro Petrarca, receives in the various musical performances he performs.
Caserta native and Sammaritan by adoption, he alternates with the mastery of someone who is a deep connoisseur of music, between genres and musical formations. We will find him in the warm atmospheres of jazz clubs, or the haughty ones of Italian theaters. In addition, a new album already finished to be released this year.
Numerous dates between November and December, which saw him as the undisputed protagonist of clubs and theaters at the end of 2019. Accompanied in some stages, in addition to his excellent traveling companions and musicians, also by artists of the caliber of: Gabriele Mirabassi, Daniele Sepe, Pietro Condorelli and Fabrizio Bosso.
In the next concerts to follow, there will be special guests such as the one on January 4th in Camigliano in the province of Caserta where the Lello Petrarca Trio will share the stage with an exceptional special guest: the famous New York saxophonist and clarinetist Jon De Lucia. Original pieces will be proposed, compositions taken from classical music and reworked in a jazz key. There will also be some standards of the African-American tradition.
