Naples, 14-year-old caught with a knife in Piazza Mercato together with two peers

A 14-year-old from Porta Nolana was with three friends, all minors, when he was caught in the market square by Carabinieri officers from the Borgoloreto station in possession of a cutting weapon.
In fact, he was hiding a butterfly knife in his underwear, which the soldiers found when they searched him.
The boy was identified, charged with possession of offensive objects, and then released to his parents. The weapon was seized.

Also in the market square, the Carabinieri found two large Christmas trees, most likely stolen, that had been hidden on the roof of an Enel cabin.
