As part of the prevention and control services at the Naples Central Railway Station, a patrol from the Naples Central Operations Sector noticed a couple made up of a man and a woman entering the “Feltrinelli” bookshop.
Both, with multiple coordinated actions, but united by a single criminal plan, took possession of a package of Bluetooth earphones for iPhones, shielding it with silver paper so as not to alarm the electronic anti-theft doors, located at the exit of the commercial establishment. The man, who had a criminal record, took the stolen goods outside and the woman hid them under the jacket she was wearing at the time.
Promptly stopped by the Polfer Police, they were arrested in flagrante delicto and subjected to the measure of house arrest. At the outcome of the summary trial, held yesterday, they were sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment for the man and 4 months for the woman, and both were subjected to the obligation to sign at the Police Station of Scampia.
