A woman was admitted to the Loreto Mare Hospital in Naples and treated for a stab wound to the right abdominal wall. The 25-year-old drove herself to the emergency room and told doctors she had injured herself in a domestic accident. Police are investigating the case and seeking corroboration of the young woman's account. She was discharged with an eight-day prognosis.
