A video spot that will be shown in all the stations of the Video circuit
Naples Metro and which already promises to go viral via social media
network, reaching out to all young mothers and inviting them to
prevention of papilloma virus. The Order of Physicians of Naples has chosen
to entrust this very important message to one of the faces of the
music most loved in the population segment concerned, that is
that of Nancy Coppola, the “singing mother”.
In the video the artist recalls the importance of vaccination against
papilloma virus, speaking directly to young women (and mothers)
and spontaneous.
As reported by AIRC, in Italy 8,5 percent of all tumors are
linked to the presence of viruses which, using mechanisms and strategies
different, they are able to infect healthy cells and start the
cancer formation processes. Among the viruses best known for their link
with cancer there is the human papilloma virus (HPV), responsible for approximately
20 percent of the 31.000 virus-caused cancer cases that occur
every year. If until a few years ago research was focused only on
relationship between HPV and cervical cancer, are increasingly numerous
evidence showing that the papilloma virus also plays a role in
other types of cancer, not just female and not just of the genital area.
The choice to convey an important message through the face and the
voice of a much loved singer is also linked to the initiative that the Order
of the Doctors of Naples is setting up a project against violence in
towards health workers. «The path that many
will soon lead us to realize a Live Aid thanks to which we will be able to
to raise awareness on such a dramatic issue, but also to collect
resources to contribute to awareness-raising initiatives",
says Silvestro Scotti.
Already announced in recent days, the idea of Live Aid entitled «Aiz' a
voice…to sing: no more violence in healthcare» was born from the desire to say
once again "enough with the attacks" which unfortunately are repeated with
a dramatic frequency. »The attacks on doctors – Scotti is reborn –
are a phenomenon that affects everyone. Whoever attacks a doctor attacks
himself, because he puts at risk those who can cure him and, often, save his life
life. Therefore, information and example are very important."
