“Land of Fires Pact”: City Police Seize a Truck with Untraceable Goods

The seizure was carried out as part of a territorial monitoring effort carried out by the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Municipal Police Command, in collaboration with the Italian Army and the central unit reporting to Prefect Gerlando Iorio, as part of the actions envisaged by the Land of Fires Pact, which aims to adopt extraordinary measures to prevent and combat waste abandonment and fires.
During the checks, in via Napoli, a patrol coordinated by lieutenant Salvatore Borrozzino seized a truck that was transporting untracked material; at the same time, five other vehicles were stopped and given administrative fines for violating the highway code.
