In the historic and prestigious Palazzo Roverizio, a few steps from the famous Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, the fourth Vetrina di Premio Lucio Dalla 7 will take place on Friday 20 February (2020 pm), hosted by the patron Maurizio Meli. An increasingly sought-after event that will see, for this edition, the participation of the singer-songwriter and record producer Luca Maris.
Originally from the Salicelle district of Afragola (Metropolitan City of Naples in Campania), Maris is fresh from the 2019 Naples Festival with the song “Luntano senza e te”, with which he was awarded the special prize “Tu si 'na cosa grande” – INTENSITA'.
Luca Maris, is a very well-known public face not only in Italy but also in the rest of the world. He was in first place in the general iTunes Italy chart with the song "Luna e sole" feat. Tony Esposito which sold over 20.000 copies and for this reason, the song is close to digital gold. The song was also in the charts on Spotify Charts Italy and on Radio Airplay Italy, has obtained more than 5 million views on YouTube and has climbed the charts of many countries such as Holland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Mexico. It is precisely from this great success that this very prestigious invitation to the Vetrina Nazionale Premio Lucio Dalla Sanremo 2020 was born. A new challenge for the singer-songwriter who on February 7, 2020, will be among the invited artists and will perform at the evening dedicated to the great Lucio Dalla.
This new success comes after a difficult period that the singer-songwriter had to go through and who now timidly confesses to having suffered from anorexia due to stress.
"It was a terrible time and for this reason I live this invitation with enormous joy, almost a rebirth. To the twenty-year success of my career is added a double personal and professional satisfaction and for this reason I would like to sincerely thank Maurizio Meli, patron of the Lucio Dalla Award".
