Fib Sud workers in Nusco 'discharged': sit-in in front of Perfetura tomorrow

It will be a bitter start to the year for the 27 workers of Fib Sud in Nusco. From 1 January 2020, the owners of Fib Sud revoked the lease of the branch of the company, returning the machinery and workers to the bankruptcy trusteeship of the bankrupt MP Company. However, the bankruptcy trusteeship rejected this revocation, considering it illegitimate and this paradoxical situation compromises any possibility for the union to open a discussion to find a solution for the 27 workers.
The workers were dumped by everyone, victims of a company that first disregarded all the previously signed agreements and then inexplicably revoked the path that was being hypothesized through a redundancy payment agreement for termination of one year with the right of first refusal of the workers in the Ics plants in Avellino and Repiombo in Calitri.
According to the bankruptcy trusteeship, the revocation of the rent based on the signed agreements cannot be carried out by the owners of Fib Sud and therefore the workers find themselves in a sort of Limbo like temporarily parked souls, waiting for someone to take charge of them to open a discussion with the union.
Added to the many elements of crisis made of workers on redundancy or fired with coverage at least of the NASPI allowance, a new and grotesque emergency and that is of workers without work, without a salary and without anyone being able to even fire them without an agreement with the union.
For these reasons, in denouncing this absurd situation, the undersigned trade unions, together with the 27 workers, will go to the Prefect of Avellino on January 3rd at 10 am, asking for an urgent meeting of the interested parties, with the hope, in the exclusive interest of the workers, of somehow getting out of this impasse.
