A man from the province of Caserta was traveling at high speed in his brother's car to Isernia Hospital to provide first aid after he had seriously injured his arm. Upon arriving in Sesto Campano, the two men encountered the Agnone patrol, and requested assistance to escort them to the hospital. The police responded immediately, leading the way for the escorted car, and within minutes, they had ensured the injured man reached Isernia's "Veneziale" hospital. The man, who was also undergoing dialysis, immediately appeared to be in serious condition, so much so that Isernia paramedics arranged for him to be transferred to Campobasso's Cardarelli Hospital, requesting an additional ambulance escort to significantly shorten the journey. The patrol, with the approval of the Prefectures of Isernia and Campobasso, escorted the ambulance to the Campochiaro crossroads, where they took turns with colleagues from the Highway Police Section of the regional capital, who in turn took over the relay at the "Cardarelli".
