Following an investigative effort, officers from the Torre del Greco Police Station have identified the alleged perpetrator of the theft of the "Baby Jesus" statue, which was carried out in the church of San Michele Arcangelo in Torre del Greco on January 2nd.
Thanks to images from the city's video surveillance system, the police tracked the man to his home on Via Fontana, where they found the statuette, which was immediately returned to the church. LM, a 58-year-old from the Coral coast with a criminal record, was charged with aggravated theft.
