Valeria Impagliazzo and Tommaso Setaro will be the protagonists of the fourth show on the bill at the Teatro Jovinelli in Caiazzo.
“One-act plays for him and for her”, on stage Sunday 12 January, is a free adaptation of Chekhov’s “The Marriage Proposal” and “Dramma Giallo” that will see, on the tables of Palazzo Mazziotti, two bourgeois contexts animated by two equally bourgeois figures. Apparently simple and banal dynamics tell the eternal conflict between women and men. The two texts examined therefore become the tool to create, in a single narrative thread, a glimpse of all the neuroses, manias, repressed desires, unexpected expectations that cross the relationship of a couple. The characters, deliberately over the top, immediately appear childish, capricious and prisoners of vulgar dreams and show their misery by gradually dismantling all the superstructures of their social position and their gender.
