A 34-year-old and a 19-year-old with no criminal record from the Arenella neighborhood disembarked in Procida last night on the last ferry from Pozzuoli. The Carabinieri from the Procida station were on patrol in the area to control the territory and, upon disembarkation, they immediately identified them as non-Procida residents.
they approached to check them and then identified them. something made them suspicious though, so they searched them. in a bag in the hands of one of the two they found a panettone: it seemed well wrapped but looking more closely they understood that something was hidden in the box. In fact, opening the package they saw that the panettone was hollowed out and in the cavity were hidden some bags containing about 90 grams of hashish and one of marijuana.
The two were stopped and taken to the police station for checks, then they were arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. They are now under house arrest and awaiting trial with a direct trial.
