This year, in the presence of the head physician Maria Grazia Corbo, all the medical staff of the department and the members of the benefactor association, a cradle for newborns will be donated, specifically designed for the comfort and safety of the child, in order to offer the most practical and functional solution to the healthcare worker.
"For neonatology it is a gift with both economic and functional value. It represents an important element to take into consideration when a baby is born. The cradle, in fact, will be his nest from the first hours of life and will constitute a real system of care for the newborn. We must not forget that children are the future of our history, a resource that must be cultivated in the present and our task is to provide for them allowing them to grow in the best possible way". Explains the President of ANC Salerno, Matteo Cuomo
The Benefactor Association, however, is not new to charitable works operating in the Salerno area. It is recalled that, in addition to the usual delivery of medical equipment, every year three scholarships are awarded to deserving students for enrollment in the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at the University of Salerno, and contributions are donated to the soup kitchens of Salerno and LILT Salerno.
