A16 motorway, barriers released on nine viaducts: Acqualonga is also there

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Avellino has accepted Autostrade per l'Italia's request for the release of the bridge-side safety barriers installed on eight viaducts along the A16 motorway and on one on the A14. The company announced this in a statement, underlining that "the temporary release of the seizure allows the company's competent Section Directorates to proceed with the construction work necessary to replace the safety barriers. The work will be carried out according to the methods indicated by the technical offices of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport". The barriers subject to release of the seizure are located along the following sections: * A16 motorway - viaducts: "Carafone", "Acqualonga", "Vallonalto I", "Vallonalto II", "Vallone del Varco" (between the Baiano and Benevento exits), "D'Antico", "Lamia", "Omero Fabriani" (between Vallata and Lacedonia); * A14 motorway – “Fonte dei Preti” viaduct (between the Lanciano and Val di Sangro exits).
