“With regard to the cases of oxyuriasis, it is specified that the municipal administration, in agreement with the school management, has already arranged for the disinfestation of all school buildings”. This is how the mayor of Cesa, Enzo Guida, wanted to reassure the many worried parents after the cases of intestinal worms that have affected some children.
“The disinfestations of the school buildings were carried out by a qualified company according to the procedures foreseen and codified in the health and hygiene protocols and were carried out despite the fact that they are not foreseen for cases of pinworm, as verified and verifiable at the collective prevention service of the ASL – the mayor underlined – Anyone who has well-founded doubts about what is specified is strongly requested to verify by going to the school secretary, the Municipality or the ASL and to refrain from spreading rumours and suspicions that generate concern among parents”.
