Social Cinema at Duel Village. The cast of 'Lotta per la Vita' and 'Diversamente' in the theater

A truly special morning awaits you at the Duel Village in Caserta on Sunday 16 February 2020. Two cinema events of great social and cultural importance will take place simultaneously in the halls of the structure in via Borsellino. Both with free admission.
At 10,30:XNUMX the film 'Lotta per la vita' directed by Nando De Maio will be screened, who will be at the Duel Village together with the protagonists: the actor Salvatore Misticone (Mr. Scapece in 'Benvenuti al Sud') and the boxer Patrizio Oliva. The screenplay is by Cristian Boragine, a young man from Teano affected by ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, who, combining his love for cinema and his passion for sport, wanted to tell what his life would have been like if he had not fallen ill. The text won over Misticone who did his utmost to ensure that Cristian's dream could come true. Filmed in Teano and Naples, the film tells a story of rebirth and redemption that will leave you breathless.
At 11,00:23 instead the short film 'Diversamente' will be screened, directed by the director Silvestro Marino and born from an idea of ​​the producer Domenico Eremita of DFXNUMXFilm. A work that has as protagonists the special kids of the association 'Sentieri Nuovi' of Santa Maria a Vico and that puts at the center of the story the themes of disability, integration and social inclusion. Made with the patronage of the Campania Region, the Municipality of Santa Maria a Vico and the Csv AssoVo.Ce. of Caserta, the screening will see in the front row the actors Mery Esposito, Gegé Fellini and Giuliano Maschio but also institutional representatives and exponents of the third sector. Among these the vice president of AssoVo.Ce. Concetta Caputo, the president of the association Ali e Radici, Michela Pirozzi, the president and vice president of the non-profit organization 'Sentieri Nuovi', respectively Gerarda Nuzzo and Camillo Zappacosta. The mayors of Caserta, Santa Maria a Vico and San Felice a Cancello, respectively Carlo Marino, Andrea Pirozzi and Giovanni Ferraro, will also bring their greetings.
'This short film – explained producer Domenico Eremita – was born with the intent of fulfilling a small, great dream: to allow our special kids to try their hand at acting and convey their deepest emotions to a wider audience through cinema'.
