The reporting and denunciation activity, by the Greens of Campania, continues against illegal waste dumping and those who dangerously pollute the territory and this time, thanks to the report of a citizen, a site dedicated to waste dumping has been identified, located in Via Argine, also containing straw and textile material, dangerously flammable products.
“The situation in this area is highly delicate and dangerous, there are flammable materials that could give rise to a very dangerous fire, there is a great risk. Now we must intervene promptly to avoid any disasters, the area must be cleaned and reclaimed quickly. Furthermore, it is necessary to identify, and proceed with the reporting, of those who illegally dumped these very dangerous materials, it was an attack on the environment and the safety of citizens. This area, in reality, is equipped with video surveillance cameras, precisely to monitor and discourage the dumping of materials, unfortunately, however, one of the cameras has been tampered with so as to make it point upwards, thus excluding from the frame anyone who enters the area. It will therefore be necessary to verify this situation and restore the correct functioning of the cameras. It is time to take tough action against these criminals who are attacking the health of the territory and of us citizens” – were the words of the Regional Councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
