After having captivated more than 4 million spectators in Italy alone, “Notre Dame de Paris”, one of the
most popular theatrical performances ever made, based on the novel of the same name by Victor Hugo,
returns to make you dream with new unmissable stages. To those already announced, the dates of
Naples at the Arena Flegrea, July 24th and 25th.
The tour of the most impressive show ever performed in Europe, which sees the production of David
and Clemente Zard and the collaboration with Enzo Product Ltd, started in September and after the successes
registered in Pesaro, Verona, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Naples, Bari, Turin, Rome, Trieste, Brescia and
Genoa, will touch the cities of Livorno, Eboli, Reggio Calabria, Catania, Ancona, Jesolo, again
Milan, the Stupinigi Sonic Park, Mantua, Naples again, Pula (CA), San Pancrazio Salentino
(BR) and Palermo.
An incredible rise that, in the 2016 season alone, exceeded 1 million spectators in Italy and
crowded the 43 stages, for a total of 283 sold-out performances, in 31 cities. In the same year,
NOTRE DAME DE PARIS has become a real cult, causing ticket sales to soar
theatrical, leading the ranking of titles and exceeding the attendance of the biggest live shows of the
rock and pop music, so much so that he was awarded the BigliettOne d'Oro TicketOne at the Rockol Awards
2016. Also in 2016, the Italian version continues to collect prestigious awards and obtains
three awards at the IMA (Italian Musical Awards): Best Social Show, Best Music
(Riccardo Cocciante) and Best Classical Show.
In Italy alone, in 17 years 47 cities have been visited for a total of 145 appointments and 1.246
overall performances. The musical has also been translated and adapted into 9 different languages (French,
English, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Flemish, Polish and Kazakh) and crossed 23 countries
all over the world with more than 5000 shows, capable of surprising and making 13 million people dream
international spectators.

masterful adaptation of an exciting novel, such as the one written by Victor Hugo, by
Luc Plamondon and Pasquale Panella, directed by the wise director Gilles Maheu, joins the
choreography and stage movements created by Martino Müller. The costumes are by Fred Sathal and the
scenes by Christian Ratz. A team of top-notch artists who made this work an absolute
masterpiece.

NOTRE DAME DE PARIS debuted in its original French version on September 16, 1998, at the
Palais des Congrès in Paris, where it was an immediate triumph. Four years later, David Zard produced the
Italian version with the adaptation by Pasquale Panella. On March 14, 2002, at the Gran Teatro in Rome,
built for the occasion, the “premiere” of what would become the record-breaking work was held,
an emotion that, since then, has "infected" millions of spectators. An overwhelming success that has
reached not only the public of France and Italy, but also that of the whole world: England, Switzerland,
Russia, Canada, all the way to China, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Türkiye, along with dozens of other countries,
attracting an unprecedented number of visitors everywhere.
