"Sensitivity and Collaboration, Together We Will Make It." Amedeo Manzo, President of the Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Napoli, proudly acts as a "Local Bank," always committed to recognizing and promoting the resources and entrepreneurial initiatives essential to the development of the local economy. This is one of the most active banking institutions in Italy. The bank plays a social role, with a Humanity Rating. Numerous donations have been made, especially in the medical and hospital sectors. In the current situation we are experiencing (March 20, 03), with the spread of a virus spreading throughout the world, President Manzo addresses his "Dear Members, Customers, and Friends" through a very beautiful and important letter. He says: “We are going through a time of great uncertainty, intense fear, profound pain, and absolute dismay. This terrible and invisible enemy, manifesting itself in the form of a virus, is devastating the world, Europe, and Italy. It is undermining our confidence, our will to live, our hope. After defeating the health threat, we must overcome the perfidious effects that Covid will have on our economy. Today, the ghostly panorama of our cities is being extended by the closure of small and medium-sized businesses, restaurants, public establishments, and factories. The result is an unprecedented financial disaster, which is having serious repercussions on the stock market. This apocalyptic scenario, however, is countered by hope, the will to succeed, and the energy that Italians, and Neapolitans in particular, are capable of generating in times of difficulty and for a common cause.” “I am certain that we will overcome this difficult moment too, and to do so, we need to all be united.”

We will be able, even in the darkness of a tunnel, to find that glimmer of hope that will lead us to the light. With this in mind, our bank has prepared individual initiatives to support families, small and medium-sized businesses, traders, artisans, and young people, to overcome this complicated period and prepare us all together for that restart that we absolutely desire. In our role, we will have to be timely, but also visionary, using prudence but also applying "Intelligent Love". The rules applied by the cold algorithm do not help us, but BCC Napoli will continue in its work of supporting the real economy, manufacturing "trust and hope", even when uncertainty and discouragement seem to prevail. "We will continue once again in the countercyclical phase to stay close to people and to consider the "human relationship" as a fundamental element for the important and decisive mission in which both BCC Napoli and the entire Credito Coopertivo have always been strongly committed". "The Human Rating will be a winning one locally, as a tool to combat the phenomenon of the Coronavirus crisis". The Bank is at the side of all Members and customers, in compliance with the rules, and also thanks to the courageous work of the women and men of the Credito Cooperativo partenopeo, courageously present in the workplace, because our "mission" is to be close to our territory, to the city of Naples, to our people, to the Neapolitans. "You will see that together we will make it", the beautiful words of President Manzo.
President Amedeo Manzo of Banca BCC di Napoli, tell us about this important donation in synergy? Donation in favor of the Covid Hospital and Research: "Cooperating we win".

The Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Napoli and Aicast Imprese Italia (Association of Industry, Commerce, Crafts, Services, and Tourism) are jointly supporting the Cotugno Hospital, the ASL Napoli 1 health authority with its new COVID Hospital in Loreto, and research conducted by the Pascale Cancer Institute. The dedicated account opening is seeing its balance grow hourly thanks to the continuous donations and solidarity from the association's members and the bank's members and customers. The first payments were made by Aicast and BCC di Napoli, thus demonstrating the importance of this gesture of solidarity. Once the fundraising is complete, the percentages of donations will be distributed as follows: 40% to Cotugno, 40% to ASL Napoli 1, and 20% to research by the Pascale Cancer Institute. This initiative, which joins many others in recent days, aims to highlight the cooperative spirit that characterizes our mission in the Naples metropolitan area. Indeed, by giving each of our members and customers, as well as the many members of Aicast Italia, the opportunity to make donations, even small ones, every Neapolitan can show their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, managers, researchers, and all those who are currently offering an example of professional and human ability, as well as resilience and stress management. To organize and sustain an economic and business recovery, the first step must be to defeat the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, in our role as a bank with its head and roots in the local area, we wanted to stand alongside all those who are fighting the battle on the "health front," confident that together we can win the war of economic recovery.

How did the initiative come about? From a joint idea with the National President of Aicast Italia, Antonino Della Notte, our member and client, he demonstrates that cooperation is a winning strategy in Campania. He immediately saw us as committed ambassadors of that "Intelligent Love" that has ancient roots in Naples. "Pursuing philosophies like that of "Human Rating" often means putting aside "algorithms" and "thinking with the Heart," a sentiment that will help us overcome this challenging task," stated Amedeo Manzo, President of the Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Napoli. The President of the Aicast Association, for his part, commented on the initiative: "Considering the fact that the only way out of this economic crisis is a recovery that only doctors and hospitals can accelerate, I have proposed, together with the BCC di Napoli, a fundraiser to support healthcare providers in our region. I appeal to the generosity of all the entrepreneurs I represent, as National President of AICAST IMPRESE ITALIA, and of all the ordinary people I know." I'm confident that by joining forces, we'll get out of this situation as quickly as possible and be ready to restart. I take this opportunity to thank doctors, paramedics, and all law enforcement officers for their extraordinary commitment.
