In the midst of the coronavirus emergency, the Carabinieri Forestali of Naples continue their work to prevent agri-food crimes. The forestry officers of the station reported a 56-year-old from Saviano for clandestine slaughter. On a piece of land owned by him, a real laboratory had been set up to process mostly sheep meat, presumably destined for the upcoming Easter banquets.
napA horror movie scene: lamb carcasses, bones and entrails lying on the ground, some of them set on fire for disposal.
Another man was also fined, probably a “customer” waiting to buy untraceable meat: he had no justification for his presence given the prohibitions imposed by the anti-contagion legislation.
