Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia Operations Section arrested an 18-year-old local man with no criminal record for snatching theft.

The victim was walking in the municipal park when – approached from behind – she was attacked by the boy who stole her bag containing the sum of 20 euros. The woman reported the incident to the police who, having launched a search, tracked down the criminal. The banknote was returned to the victim. The arrested man was placed under house arrest pending trial
