Vlimited visits, by reservation and with a maximum duration of twenty minutes. The cemetery in Torre Annunziata (Naples) reopens tomorrow but with strict rules to avoid the risk associated with the spread of Covid-19 infection.
This is what the mayor of the Vesuvian city, Vincenzo Ascione, has established, who underlines that "the public will be able to access it, from Monday to Sunday, from 8 to 12" by booking by phone at the number 081.5368306, using masks and gloves and respecting the interpersonal distance of at least one and a half meters. "Access will be allowed - we read in a note issued by the press office of the mayor - to a maximum number of ten people for the areas under the jurisdiction of the four archconfraternities, plus another ten for the municipal management area. The duration of the visits cannot exceed 20 minutes, so as to limit, within the cemetery structure, the simultaneous presence to a maximum of 50 people. Only elderly or disabled people who require assistance will be able to access with a companion". The cemetery complex, the institution also states, will be "constantly supervised by municipal employees representing the archconfraternities, who will monitor compliance with the measures regarding the management and containment of the Covid-19 epidemiological emergency". Funeral ceremonies will be permitted with the exclusive participation of relatives, and in any case up to a maximum of 15 people, always wearing personal protective equipment and respecting social distancing measures. Finally, florists authorized to supply funeral decorations will be able to access the cemetery from Monday to Sunday, from 7 to 8 and from 13 to 15.
