After the Prime Ministerial Decree of April 26, the municipality also complies with the new directives and orders the opening of the cemeteries of Caserta and Casola only with entrances in alphabetical order and until May 17, 2020, pending the evolution of the situation after this date.
Ffollowing the provision which ordered the closure to visitors of the Caserta Central Cemetery and the Casola Cemetery until 03/05/2020; Having seen the Prime Ministerial Decree of 26/04/2020 containing provisions on restrictive measures relating to the movement of people for the COVID-19 emergency;
Having identified the need to adopt appropriate organizational measures to ensure the limitation of the risk of contagion connected to the ongoing epidemiological emergency;
HAS
The closure of city cemeteries to visitors on 04/05/2020, in order to allow for the logistical and administrative organization necessary for the adoption of subsequent containment measures;
starting from 05/05/2020 and until 17/05/2020, the limited opening to visitors with control of the number of accesses at the entrance and exit, from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 17.00, as regulated below:
Main Cemetery with entrance until 16.00 pm, for 60 (sixty) people at the same time ENTRANCE: Main Entrance EXIT: Palatucci Gate
Entry in shifts according to alphabetical order;
-Tuesday 5th May, Monday 11th May and Friday 15th May: surname letter from A to E
-Wednesday 6 May, Friday 8 May, Wednesday 13 May: surname letter from F to N
-Thursday 7th May, Tuesday 12th May and Thursday 14th May surname letter from O to Z
Casola Cemetery with entrance until 16.00 pm, of 20 (twenty) people at the same time ENTRANCE: Main entrance
EXIT: Altar side passage
Entrance to both cemeteries will be permitted only to users wearing masks. Inside, visitors must respect social distancing, stay only for the time necessary to greet their loved ones and to carry out cleaning or flower replacement activities. Each visitor may enter the cemetery with a companion, who will not follow the access by shifts in alphabetical order but will be counted for the purposes of calculating the maximum number of people present inside the structure.
The Cemetery Services staff, equipped with PPE devices such as masks and gloves, are responsible for supervising the rules of access and visits by users.
This letter is sent to the Mayor, the Prefecture of Caserta, the ASL of Caserta, the Police Headquarters of Caserta, the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Caserta, the Provincial Guardia di Finanza Command of Caserta and the Municipal Police Command of Caserta.
