IThe vice president of the directors' association asks for a correction to Prime Minister Conte's decree: we are preparing with thermoscanners, masks, surveillance, quotas, large spaces and sanitization
“Shopping centers must reopen from May 18 also because the vast majority of them are already open to allow access to the businesses that provide essential services such as food, tobacco, newsstands, opticians, pharmacies, consequently all the maximum safety provisions are active”. This was declared by Gaetano Graziano, the vice president of the association of 'Shopping Center Directors', who loudly called for a correction to the decree of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte that allows a reopening of shopping centers together with city center shops.
There are several shopping centers in the province of Caserta that are waiting to reopen their doors, above all the Centro Campania and 'La Reggia Designer Outlet' in Marcianise, the Jambo in Trentola Ducenta and the Medì in Teverola.
“The most important association in the sector, the National Council of Shopping Centres, has published a document containing the guidelines that reinforce the complete safe reopening of shopping centres and parks and factory outlets – underlines Gaetano Graziano – These procedures, implemented to protect the health of workers, traders, suppliers and customers, have been developed by a group of experts in the sector including the president of the association 'Directors of Shopping Centres' and are in addition to the legal regulations and further prescriptions that local and health authorities will provide”.
The document provides for the organization of mandatory routes with specific internal and external signage, starting from the parking lots, to allow for an optimal distribution of the flow of people entering and exiting, but also inside the galleries and in queues outside the shops, monitoring in real time the number of customers present inside the commercial area, in compliance with a rule that aims to guarantee, with strengthened surveillance controls, the distance between people.
Furthermore, thermoscanners will be positioned at the entrances to detect the temperature and it will be ensured that each visitor wears a mask, a necessary condition to be able to access the facility. Additional cleaning interventions are also planned inside the facilities, through daily sanitization and disinfection, in line with what is indicated by the competent authorities and using products in line with current regulations, in addition to extraordinary and continuous maintenance of the air conditioning filters and related periodic sanitization.
