Of the 8 positive swabs out of 259 examined at the BIOGEM Laboratory, 7 refer to 6 people residing in the Municipality of Ariano Irpino and 1 to a person residing in Taurasi.
IIn 4 cases, these are swabs requested by the ASL of Avellino to ascertain the infection in close contacts of subjects who tested positive for coronavirus in Irpinia, one of whom had already undergone a rapid test. In the other 3 cases, these are infected people who came out of diagnosis due to symptoms. During the day, also considering the Moscati of Avellino, 361 Irpinia swabs were examined. The data indicates a circulation of the coronavirus in Irpinia. Throughout the week, cases emerged thanks to a massive screening in terms of the number of swabs.
