LThe Crisis Unit of the Campania Region announces that, today, within the scope of the checks carried out at the railway stations of Campania, in the surveillance posts at motorway toll booths, at Capodichino airport and in some key locations in the area, 1706 passengers coming from outside the region were registered.
All were subjected to temperature measurement. 15 passengers had a temperature equal to or higher than 37.5 °C. Based on medical assessments, at the moment, the Local Health Authorities have subjected some passengers to rapid tests and possibly to nasopharyngeal swabs. In particular, 320 were subjected to rapid tests and 19 were positive.
Regarding the swabs carried out: 3 of these relating to people screened at the barrier of Naples North were negative. The reports of the remaining swabs are awaited. 598 people have communicated their arrival to their local health authorities. All people coming from outside Campania have been placed in home isolation.
