Woman armed with knife reported on foot on Naples ring road

Knife-wielding woman walking on the Naples ring road threatens a Highway Police patrol. A 52-year-old woman from Pozzuoli reported.

Moments of panic this morning when a woman armed with a knife was walking along the Naples ring road in the direction of Pozzuoli.
This is a 52-year-old woman from Pozzuoli already known to the police who, in an evident state of agitation, at the sight of the officers of the Fuorigrotta Motorway Subsection, dependent on the Naples Highway Police Section, pulled out a kitchen knife trying to stab the police officers who were trying to immobilize her.

At that moment, a team from the Pozzuoli Police Station arrived to support her and the woman, also with the help of the medical personnel who arrived on site, was rendered harmless and transported to a hospital where she was admitted. The 52-year-old was reported for aggravated threats, attempted assault, resisting a public official and illegal possession of a weapon.
