No positives at the checks at Salerno Station and bus terminals today. In total there were 85 arrivals from outside the region of which only 15 residents in the city.
A taking stock of the situation of the day's checks is the municipal councilor Mimmo de Maio. "With the arrival of the last train at the central station of Salerno, this first day of checks on arrivals from outside the region ends. - writes De Maio - Throughout the day, 85 travelers arrived from outside the region, by train and bus, (75 by train and 10 by bus) all generalized and subjected to temperature measurement. No fever was recorded for anyone, and the obligation of quarantine was triggered for everyone.
Of all the generalized people, just over 15 people live in the city. I feel obliged to thank all the units involved in this great work of controlling the territory, men and women of the Municipal Police, of the various police forces, of the ASL, of the Italian Red Cross, of the voluntary associations, of the Civil Protection. The activity will continue in the coming days”.
